Job Summary:As a Tire Pressman, you will play a crucial role in the production of our high-quality industrial tires. Responsible for operating specialized tire presses and related machinery, you will ensure the accurate and efficient manufacturing of our products to meet the demands of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor tire presses, ensuring proper temperature, pressure, and cycle times- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on tire press equipment- Inspect finished tires for quality and adherence to specifications- Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements- Maintain detailed production records and logs- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- 1-2 years of experience in a tire manufacturing or similar industrial production environment- Proficiency in operating tire presses and related machinery- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and production manuals- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
Working Conditions:This is a temporary-to-hire position based at our production plant. The work environment is fast-paced and can involve exposure to noise, heat, and other industrial hazards. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work a flexible schedule, including potential overtime.
Compensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive hourly rate, with the potential for a permanent position and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
