Key Responsibilities:
- Review daily shipping schedules and prioritize orders based on deadlines
- Pick, pack, and prepare rope products for shipment according to customer specifications
- Verify order accuracy (product type, quantity, labeling, and packaging) before shipment
- Generate and process shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation
- Enter shipment details into the system and maintain accurate records of outgoing orders
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to ensure orders are completed on time
- Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks or other equipment as needed
- Communicate with carriers/drivers regarding pickups, schedules, and special instructions
- Inspect packaged goods to ensure they meet quality standards before leaving the facility
- Troubleshoot and report any shipping discrepancies, damages, or delays
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/warehouse area
- Follow all company safety procedures and shipping protocols
Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment preferred
- Basic computer skills (data entry, printing labels, tracking shipments)
- Ability to read and understand work orders and shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on feet throughout the shift
- Team player with good communication skills
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
