Job Title: MRO Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator (2nd Shift)Location: Chattanooga, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Saturday and/or Sunday as needed)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Job SummaryWe are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive MRO Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to support inventory control, purchasing operations, and cross-department communication. This role is responsible for managing the MRO crib, ensuring materials and supplies are available for production and office needs, while maintaining accurate records, cost efficiency, and strong vendor relationships.This position also serves as a key point of communication between supervisors, vendors, and internal departments, making leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills essential. Candidates with management, coordination, or team leadership experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the MRO crib, ensuring proper inventory control and organization
  • Purchase materials and supplies to meet production and office requirements
  • Ensure products and services meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations
  • Enter and process purchase orders for the technical department
  • Track and follow up on purchase requisitions to ensure timely delivery
  • Research and source parts as needed for various departments
  • Administer and utilize the INFOR maintenance system
  • Manage DSSI and purchasing systems
  • Act as liaison between vendors, supervisors, and internal management
  • Coordinate communication across departments to support operational efficiency
  • Ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time
  • Maintain records including invoices, purchase orders, and reconciliation reports
  • Prepare reports such as cost summaries, crib usage, and maintenance activity
  • Support workflow coordination and assist supervisors with supply-related planning
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in inventory control, purchasing, crib operations, or related field preferred
  • Strong computer skills and data entry experience required
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Leadership, coordination, or management experience is a plus
