We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Estimator / Inside Sales professional to join our growing manufacturing team in Jasper, TN. Position Summary

The Estimator / Inside Sales professional is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations based on customer specifications, supporting new product implementation, and coordinating with production, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for new and existing products based on customer drawings and specifications.

• Review mechanical drawings and technical documentation to determine material, labor, and production costs.

• Monitor material compliance and maintain material traceability databases.

• Collaborate with production supervisors to establish processes, controls, and cost-effective manufacturing methods.

• Communicate effectively with plant operations, engineering, management, vendors, and customers to ensure successful product implementation.

• Ensure product testing meets customer reliability, performance, and functional requirements.

• Serve as a liaison between the company, outside vendors, and customers as needed.

• Coordinate order scheduling with production and customer service teams to ensure accurate delivery timelines.

• Follow up with customers regarding order status and updates.

• Purchase materials as needed through an established supplier network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production manufacturing environment (metals/welding industry preferred).

• Estimating experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with leadership capability.

• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn AS400 or similar ERP systems.
