Forklift Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This is a 2nd shift position 2:30pm-1am

Duties
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials around the warehouse
- Load and unload products from trailers or containers
- Perform routine pre and post-inspections on forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed

Requirements
- Proven experience as a forklift operator
- Valid certification to operate a forklift
- Familiarity with various types of forklifts such as order pickers, lift trucks, and cherry pickers
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control
- Basic math skills for inventory counts
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is beneficial
- Ability to perform equipment repairs is an advantage
