Job Description
MRO Clerk (Maintenance, Repair & Operations)
1st Shift / 6 AM - 2:30 PM
$18.50/hr
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented MRO Clerk to support the maintenance department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring maintenance teams have the necessary parts, materials, and supplies to keep production running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and monitor inventory levels of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies

Ensure all necessary equipment and materials are readily available for repairs and preventative maintenance

Contact vendors to request quotes, place orders, and track shipments

Expedite critical orders to prevent downtime and maintain production schedules

Receive and verify incoming materials and ensure proper documentation

Update inventory databases and maintain accurate procurement records

Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits

Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors

Communicate clearly with maintenance and production teams regarding part availability
Qualifications:

1+ year experience in inventory control, purchasing, MRO, warehouse, or maintenance support preferred

Strong understanding of inventory systems and basic purchasing procedures

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel (data entry, basic formulas), and Word
-
Ability to write professional emails and communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Basic math skills for tracking inventory and purchase orders

High school diploma or GED required

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs if needed
